The Lagoon Development Company develops, operates and owns the ticketed access component of large scale lagoons for swimming and watersports. The company is responsible for the design, financial feasibility, capitalization, and bottomline profitability of the ticketed access component of several lagoons in different stages of planning, construction and operation including a 2-acre lagoon at Balmoral, the 1st lagoon to be approved for swimming in the US and a 12-acre lagoon at Lago Mar, the largest in Texas. Lagoon Development also develops projects for 3rd party property owners on a fee basis.

BALMORAL 2 ACRE LAGOON
The Balmoral 2-Acre Lagoon is located in the Humble area of Houston. The lagoon anchors an 8-Acre amenity village. It holds 5 million gallons of water. This lagoon was the first in the United States to be approved for swimming. The lagoon was delivered in less than 12 months fully amenitized including a 6,000 square foot clubhouse, 2 beaches, mini-golf, hammock lawn, celebration lawn, food truck area, paddle-boarding/kayaking facility, grotto with waterfall, and conventional swimming pool.

PROJECTS
LAGO MAR 12 ACRE LAGOON
The Lago Mar 12 acre lagoon is located in Texas City, Texas between downtown Houston and Galveston. The lagoon anchors an 100 acre mixed-use entertainment resort complex. The lagoon is the largest in Texas holding more than 25 million gallons of water and will be the first in the United States that will include a future public access facility. The lagoon will also include a boardwalk with restaurants, bars, entertainment, world class sailing facility, a hotel and amenities for the 4,500 home Lago Mar community. The lagoon construction is now completed (December 2019). The surrounding residential amenities include a 10,000 square foot clubhouse, beaches, mini-golf, hammock park, celebration lawn, food truck area, paddle-boarding/kayaking facility, grotto with waterfall, and conventional swimming pool will be opened May 2020
