dsc_4910 (1).JPG

The public can spend spring break at the state’s largest Crystal Lagoons® amenity March 12-28 during Spring Break at Lago Mar.

The 12-acre lagoon, 3240 Lago Mar Blvd. in Texas City, will be open 10 a.m. to sunset Tuesdays through Sundays. In addition to enjoying the lagoon’s white-sand beaches and turquoise waters, guests will be able to play on an inflatable obstacle course, try their hand at water jousting and fly into the water off of a catapult swing. Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards also will be available for rent.

Resort-style cabanas can be reserved and the Oasis Pool and splash pad also will be available. The game lawn will include corn hole, spike ball, volleyball, giant Jenga, Spider Pong, Banzai Ball and a slip and slide. Food trucks and a full bar will be on-site.

A variety of fitness classes will be offered as part of admission, as will trivia contests and other engaging activities. There will be an artisan market March 14. The growing list of activities will be updated online at www.lagoonhouston.com

Lago Mar residents get in free. General public tickets for Spring Break at Lago Mar start at $15 for children under age 13 and $20 for those ages 13 and older. Children age 2 and under get in for free.
